May 26, 2010 Edgewood Garden Learning Center Kick-off Reception
Edgewood Center for Children and Families in collaboration with board member and Edgewood Garden Learning Center chair Donna Abrahamson organized an evening reception hosted by Phyllis and Scott Bedford at their Hillsborough residence. It was attended by more than 40 people and kicked-off the capital campaign for the Edgewood Garden Learning Center scheduled for completion next year. Pro-bono designer Zach Davis of SWA Group (most notably recognized for the Living Roof at the California Academy of Sciences) introduced the concept and schematics for the community garden which will be located at Edgewood's San Francisco campus and that will be accessible to all Edgewood families in San Francisco and San Mateo Counties.
