GET FIT, GET INSPIRED! ACROSS THE BAY 12K RACE - JULY 9
The 34th Annual Across the Bay 12k and 5k races take place on Sunday, July 9th and we invite you and your friends and family to come out and smash some running goals!
Across the Bay is a benefit for Edgewood Center for Children and Families. The famous run takes place along a scenic route that offers a challenging course between Sausalito and San Francisco for 12k runners, as well as a gentle 5k run or walk option along San Francisco's famed Aquatic Park.
Here's how to get started:
1. Register for the run! Get in on early registration rates before prices increases on June 7. A portion of registration proceeds will be donated to Edgewood youth so please share with your friends!

MENTAL HEALTH AWARENESS MONTH
May is Mental Health Awareness Month – an opportunity to shine the spotlight on issues regarding mental health, particularly with children and youth.
Nationally, 1 in 5 children will experience mental health challenges yet only a small percentage of children and their families will be able to access the help they need. The stigma surrounding this topic has long stood as an impediment to both the transfer of knowledge as well as the willingness to seek treatment.

LEVI'S COMMUNITY DAY
In May, volunteers from Levi Strauss & Co., one of the world’s largest brand-name apparel companies, visited Edgewood Center for Children and Families to participate in global Community Day - a day of giving back to those in need.
Edgewood and Levi's have been long-time partners with one goal in mind - helping children and youth in need.
