November 2015
Alumni from the San Francisco 49ers recently visited Edgewood's beautiful campus to spend the afternoon with kids and staff as part of the franchise's Ed Block Courage Awards - named after the famed athletic trainer for the Baltimore Colts who had a drive and passion for helping children who have been affected by abuse and neglect.
Watch the video above and you'll see there were plenty of smiles and cheers as football players and kids worked together on art projects and participated in physical fitness drills. Edgewood staff also received a surprise from the 49ers during the visit!
Help us make the holidays brighter for kids and families. Our annual holiday gift drive is the perfect way to show your support for Edgewood youth by purchasing a new and unwrapped gift that they've requested. As we kick off our Light Up the Holidays for Edgewood Kids season, we hope you'll join us in making a child's holiday and new year the most memorable ever.
Tis' the season of giving and with #GivingTuesday just around the corner on December 1, you can help Light Up the Holidays for Edgewood Kids and provide much needed support with your tax- deductible gift!
Mark your calendars - the 50th Edgewood Fair will be held on April 28-29 at the elegant Bentley Reserve in San Francisco! Our golden anniversary celebration is already shaping up to be the event of 2016 to attend.
Sponsorship opportunities are available now. Stay tuned for ticket sales to begin in the coming months.
