goodbye, nancy rubin
We will very much miss CEO Nancy Rubin who retires on August 27. Under her leadership, Edgewood has grown to a $25M agency serving over 5,000 children and their families. children, families suffering under child welfare cut
Abused and neglected children are suffering the effects of the Governor's veto of $133 million ($80 million General Fund) in the Child Welfare Services program. Data shows California is now headed in the wrong direction because of budget cuts, leading to disastrous outcomes for children in the areas of safety, permanency and well-being. Urge the governor to reverse these cuts by sending him an email here...
